Spring Begins!

Weather is a curious thing. Depending on where one lives, spring can seem like a distant promise or a forgotten memory. This week, the American southwest baked in triple-digit temperatures, while the Northeast continued to see lows below freezing. In the Southern Hemisphere, summer is ending and the first leaves are about to fall.

Here in New York, we’ve already seen some signs of spring: daffodils and crocuses poking through the ground, buds on the trees, a larger symphony of birds. Next the cherry blossoms will appear. Spring is not only about the season, but the feeling of spring: the anticipation of rejuvenation and new life. Spring officially begins at 10:46 a.m. on Friday, March 20. On Sunday morning at 10, we’ll be talking about the new season and what it means; we hope that you can join us. Wishing everyone a happy and blessed spring!
